A dedicated healthcare leader with 35 years of service at Vaughan Regional Medical Center, Smith brings extensive clinical, operational, and educational experience to her new role. Throughout her distinguished career, she has served in numerous leadership capacities, including Director of Labor and Delivery, where she demonstrated an unwavering commitment to patient care, staff development, and clinical excellence.
Over the course of her tenure, Smith has helped care for generations of families across Selma and the surrounding region. Her deep ties to the community, combined with her passion for nursing and patient advocacy, have made her a respected leader both within the hospital and among the patients and families Vaughan serves.
Smith's career has also included significant contributions to nursing education and professional development, helping mentor and prepare future generations of healthcare professionals while advancing quality care across the organization. Her focus on developing strong clinical teams has helped ensure that local residents continue to receive high-quality, compassionate care close to home.
