Vaughan Regional Medical Center receives national division award

Selma, AL. - Vaughan Regional Medical Center was recently recognized by its parent company, LifePoint Hospitals, Inc. as the 2007 High Five Award winner for the National Division. The High Five Award is the highest honor awarded annually to one hospital in each division.
The High Five Award recognizes exceptional progress and success in each of LifePoint Hospitals' five Core Values:

The award was received by the Vaughan administrative team-Barry Keel, Chief Executive Officer; Mike Long, Chief Financial Officer; Allen Peters, Chief Operating Officer; and Cherie Sibley, Chief Nursing Officer. The award was accepted on behalf of the Vaughan employees, physicians, volunteers, and board of trustees at the annual LifePoint Operations Meeting last week in Nashville, Tenn.
As the divisional High Five Award winner, Vaughan Regional also received a check in the amount of $100,000.00 to be used toward additional medical technology as Vaughan continues to grow and enhance its medical services.
