Vaughan Regional adds Open MRI to line of services

Selma, AL. - Vaughan Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of Vaughan Open MRI, formerly Selma Open MRI, to our family of services. This addition to Vaughan's services is a freestanding Open Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit. The purchase included the MRI itself as well as the land, building and other assets.

We will continue to offer the same great service with the same professional, courteous staff in the same location," Keel said.

Vaughan Open MRI will function as a part of the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Vaughan Regional. The hospital provides a complete range of medical imaging procedures in general radiography and in subspecialty areas. Advanced technology includes a conventional MRI unit inside the hospital as well as equipment for CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, and Bone Densitometry.

Vaughan Open MRI is certified by the American College of Radiology and each of the technologists are registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
